With a pink sea of flamingos lapping at its shores, rich area of grassland, euphorbia and acacia forests, and rocky cliffs supporting a myriad of animal and bird species, this is one of the best parks to visit.
Grazing or lazing white rhinos, the shy black rhino are seen here. If lucky, you can catch a glimpse of the rare tree climbing lions. Warthog are common all over. Waterbucks and buffalos are found in the shore.
Waterbucks, reedbuck and the Thompson gazelles can be found further in bushes, where there is also a chance of seeing a leopard.
Around the cliffs, you can catch the site of hyraxes and birds of prey amid the countless baboons. Hippos are also present.
Drive back to Nairobi or the next destination.
