SPECIAL TOUR
The Usambara Mountains are a mountain range in North-East Tanzania, approximately 70 miles (110 km) long and ranging from 20 to 40 miles (64 km) in width. Mountains in the range rise as high as 8,000 ft (2,440 m). Its rainforest and tropical climate make this range of mountains unique. While at the top view point, you can look east to view the beautiful scenery of the east coast of Tanzania, and look west to see tremendous views of the western forest. Historically, the Usambara Mountains have been inhabited by the Bantu, Sambaa and Maasai people, who were
a mix of agriculturalists and pastoralists. We offer bike tours to the view point along paved roads through the villages which surround the mountain. Here you will get to experience and learn more about the coastal people of East Africa and their culture. We are sure you will enjoy our cultural and bike tour to Usambara mountain range
